關於「ビっ子」的二三事 @ 砂之椅子

ビっ子さんについて。
宜しければご一読下さい。

[ビっ子とは]
当サイト「ROMANTIC FOOL since 1995」のキャラクターです。
その名は検索されにくいようにカタカナ、ひらがな、漢字から成り立っています。
キャラを作った当初は名の通るキャラになるなど想像もして居ませんでした。
多少なりとも日の目を見るようになってきた今だからこそ、一度話しておきたいと思います。
元来こういう事を書いたとて逆に叩かれるであろうかと危惧して伏せていたのですが。
２，３年前に出した同人誌「欠損少女」には掲載した内容です。

[成り立ち]
私の知り合いに、事故で後天的に片腕と数本の指を失った女性が居ます。
周囲の人間は多分に彼女を気遣ったり、奇異の目を向けたり、腫れ物に触るかのように接したりします。
が、彼女はそんな全てを意に介さず、凛として歩くその姿は大変に格好良く、美しいなぁと素直に感じます。
元来そんな友人へのリスペクト、憧れの気持ちからビっ子さんは生まれました。

しかし果たして彼女に限った話なのでしょうか。
私たちは誰しもが何かしらの欠損、欠陥を抱えているものではないでしょうか？
勿論私も貴方も、その因果の外には居ません。
欠損を認めた上で、受け止め、飲み下してそれで尚どうやって生きていくか　が重要なのだと思うのです。
障害者だから、欠損が目に見えるから　という理由で聖人かのように扱い、「触れてはいけない」という暗黙を作る、目を背ける方が陰湿で、差別に当たると私は考えます。

ビっ子は、そういう欠けてしまったものを認め、受け容れた女の子が無様であろうと強く生きていく様を描こうと思い作ったキャラです。
そのネーミング、見た目から彼女を敬遠する方、憤慨する方、いらっしゃると思います。
健常者たる私がハンデを背負う人を描く事に怒りを覚える方もいらっしゃるでしょう。
むしろそういう方々のほうが多いかもしれません。
ですが、一度考えるきっかけにして頂ければ幸いです。
それで尚ビっ子さんとか見てらんないし　キモいし　と仰られるのならそれもまた結構です。
所詮はアングラを行くキャラクターです。素直に放置、スルーを決め込んでやって下さると幸いです。

[展開]
同人誌　「欠損少女」2004.春

ガレージキット　「ビっ子さん」安眠（あみん）ガレキのばぁー様方で制作して頂きました。

明るく強いビっ子をこれからも描いて行ければ幸せです。

[設定（私の知る限りの情報）]
ビっ子（１６歳）
小学生の時に交通事故で左足と右目を失う。
傷痕にケロイド。
青い目。カラコンでは無いらしい。
過去、各種ストレスから頭頂部周辺は白髪に変化。
現在は黒いメッシュを入れている。（ビっ子曰く「かっこいーっしょ。」）
後ろ髪は刈り上げ。
愛飲する煙草はＣＨＥＲＲＹ。日に２，３箱いってる。
娼婦を生業としている。
バンドでVoをやっているらしい。
昔薬漬けだったらしい。
昔荒れていたらしい。
手首に傷は無い。
放浪癖。
良く食う。
良く呑む。

[Who Is Bikko?]

She is a character in here, "ROMANTIC FOOL since 1995".
To make them hard to search. her name contains Katakana, Hiragana, Kanji.
At first time, I cannot imagine she becomes how popular among you.
Some people loves her, so I think now is the time to write about something about her.
I don't wanna do, because some people blame on me with this character
Here are the docment that I wrote in "Kesson Shoujo (Defected Girl?)"

[Process]

A girl, friend of mine, who had lost her arm and some fingers on accident.
People in around her, they feel poor her, look at her as a freak or very treat her.
But, She did not mind them. She has gallant attitude. Whatta beautiful I thought, when I saw her.
I respect for and/or hanker for her. That's the why I draw Bikko.

However, this situation is only for her?
We have something loss or we're defective human, aren't we?
Of course, I and you have not exreption of this fate.
We receive recognition about it; accept it; and so how do you live with it; I think that is important.
I think this is the underhand and cruel, and discriimination: treat them like a special and label them "untouchable" because of the challengers or they lost parts of their body or just act as they're not here,

So, I draw how Bikko who receive recognition and accept her loss is unsightly girl but living strong
Ithink some challengers(handychapped poeple) cannnot restrain theyer anger with drawing physical defected person by me (I have no physical defect).
No, they are majority, I guess.
But I hope you think this is the chance of thinking about your loss or someone's loss.
She is just a underground character. I want you to ignore her.

Name: Bikko (looks 16-year-old-girl)
She lost her left leg and right eye at car accident when she was primary school girl.
every her scar bcame keloid.
Blue eyes; seems to me, no cloured contact lens in her eyes.
Every stress make her hair turn white.
Now, she black meshed on her hair.(Bikko says "Soooo cooool, isn't it?")
She has back of her hair trims so chort.
Favorite smoke: Cherry. a few backs per a day.
